Normandeau Supports Forest Society Lobby Exhibit Upgrade

Bedford, NH — Tuesday, July 06, 2010 — The Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests (www.forestsociety.org) recently unveiled new interpretative display panels in the lobby of the Conservation Center in Concord, NH. Made possible by the generous support of Normandeau Associates and others, the new panels welcome visitors to the Forest Society''s green building by explaining its history and dual mission: to promote the wise use of New Hampshire''s forests and other renewable natural resources and protecting those resources through permanent land conservation. One set of the panels serves as the beginning of an audio tour of the building, interpreting the energy-efficient design elements. The new display also includes an interactive touch screen with videos and a statewide map of the Forest Society''s more than 165 forest reservations. Pam Hall, President of Normandeau Associates and member of the Forest Society''s Board of Trustees attended a reception at the Conservation Center for those who helped fund the new lobby exhibit.
