Normandeau Sponsors Audubon Event

Concord, NH —Normandeau Associates recently sponsored a major fundraising event for New Hampshire Audubon at the Red River Theatre in Concord, NH.  The event included a reception and special screening of the movie, The Lord God Bird, with acclaimed filmmaker George Butler and author/script writer Caroline Alexander.  The Lord God Bird, a must-see film for all conservationists, is about the ivory-billed woodpecker which was once common throughout the Southeast, frequenting hard-to-reach old growth cypress swamps.  Admired for its beauty and size, the ivory-bill woodpecker vanished and is believed to have become extinct by the end of WWI.  The fundraising event drew a crowd of over 100 attendees and raised more than $8,000.
