Normandeau Associates prepares permit applications and provides permitting assistance, including field data collection, for projects that need to meet specific state, local, and federal regulatory requirements such as: Section 404 of the Clean Water Act Section; Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act; Marine Protection, Research and Sanctuaries Act; and the Coastal Zone Management Act. Our professional staff is formally trained in the areas of environmental planning, mitigation and design, and permitting. We are able to help our clients obtain required permits efficiently while meeting critical project schedules and deliverables. Highly skilled staff, outstanding quality performance We oversee many projects that require mitigation planning and the dredge monitoring as well as disposal operations in order to demonstrate project compliance with established environmental guidelines. Successful dredge permits often require our expertise in marine and aquatic biology and ecology, water quality, sedimentology, chemistry and fisheries. We are highly skilled in the collection, analysis and reporting of environmental data, and have received recognition from NMFS for the outstanding quality of our essential fish habitat impact assessments. We provide the hands-on experience that meets the required state/Federal permitting requirements and the US EPA/ACOE “Green Book” criteria to support our client needs.
