Ken Cash Joins Stevenson, Washington Office of Normandeau Associates, Inc.


Stevenson, Washington.  August 2007 – Ken Cash has joined the Stevenson, Washington office of Normandeau Associates as a Principal Scientist.  Mr. Cash will enhance Normandeau’s capabilities related to the evaluation of fish passage and behavior.  During his 10 years with the U.S. Geological Survey he has conducted fish behavior research on the Columbia River, Snake River, Cowlitz River, and Sacramento River.  Prior to that, Mr. Cash conducted work on the Missouri River, Mississippi River, Savannah River, Kenai River, Kasilof River, and Kuskokwim River.  He is one of the foremost experts in the U.S. in the application of 3D acoustic techniques along with conventional hydroacoustic, radio telemetry, Acoustic Doppler (ADD) current profiling, and DIDSON applications.  Over the past 10 years Mr. Cash has been a high profile researcher of smolt emigration in the Columbia River Basin.  Ken can be reached at (509) 427-4793 extension 13, or via email: kcash@normandeau.com.
