Jeffrey Simmons Joins Yarmouth, Maine Office of Normandeau Associates, Inc.
Yarmouth, Maine. October 1, 2007 – Jeffrey Simmons has joined Normandeau Associates, Inc. as a Principal Scientist and Group Manager in Normandeau’s Yarmouth, Maine office. Mr. Simmons has more than 18 years of experience in wetland science, environmental planning, and regulatory permitting. He offers special expertise in transportation, energy, and commercial development markets. “Jeff provides our firm with additional depth and expertise in permitting for large-scale and complicated projects,” said Marcia Bowen, Vice President.
Mr. Simmons has extensive experience managing projects involving wetland delineation and functional assessment, mitigation site search and design, ecological analyses, and general environmental planning. He has conducted numerous baseline studies and assessments of potential environmental impacts on natural resources in association with highway, rail, and airport projects. His consulting experience also includes providing these services for large scale energy and commercial developments.
