Former President and CEO of ESS Group, Inc. Joins Normandeau
Bedford, New Hampshire. September 27, 2007 – Robert V. Bibbo has joined Normandeau Associates as Vice President for Corporate Initiatives. He was formerly the President and CEO of the ESS Group Inc. and served as Chairman of the Environmental Business Council of New England, a major environmental trade association group. Mr. Bibbo brings over 30 years of professional experience to his new position and will use his leadership and management skills to enhance Normandeau’s strong national position in providing environmental services.
Mr. Bibbo’s prior experiences are heavily weighted to industrial and energy environmental markets which are an excellent match for Normandeau, a leader in providing environmental services to major US utilities and national energy clients. He has led and successfully managed consulting and permitting groups focused on siting and permitting new and modified facilities in over 30 states. He has a thorough understanding of the regulatory drivers and other market factors which create business opportunities for environmental services firms. He will work with Normandeau‘s regional offices and national client service groups to plan for and implement strategies for growth and diversification. Mr. Bibbo has an outstanding track record for recognizing market opportunities, developing strategies and undertaking prudent actions that have resulted in successful growth.
In 2004, he was presented with the Environmental Leadership Award by the Environmental Business Council of New England. He received an MS from Northeastern University and an MBA from Babson College. He resides in Rehoboth, Massachusetts, and will work out of Normandeau’s Corporate Headquarters in Bedford, New Hampshire.
