Normandeau Leads Public Involvement for NE 18th Street Project

Vancouver, Washington. January 2008 – Normandeau Associates, Inc., is leading the public involvement, including the design guidelines process, for the NE 18th Street project in Vancouver, Washington.  NE 18th Street is a five mile long corridor that affects fourteen neighborhoods, transit, crosses an interstate highway, involves a middle school and high school, and will be the last new east/west arterial the City of Vancouver will build.  Normandeau created and is implementing a comprehensive community outreach program including public meetings, facilitating a design committee, kitchen table meetings, print and electronic communication, stakeholder communication and agency coordination.  Normandeau staff also worked on the environmental assessment for this project.
