Areva Looks to Normandeau for New Nuclear Reactor Support

Bedford, NH.  March 31, 2008–Normandeau Associates has been contracted by Areva NP, Inc. to conduct siting studies for the establishment of potential new Nuclear reactors.  As part of this work, Normandeau will be collecting the information required for submission of the Environmental Report (ER) to accompany the Combined Operating License Application (COLA) required by the NRC.  The work includes impact assessment for wetlands, wildlife, threatened and endangered species and aquatic and fisheries species.  The work being conducted by Normandeau is time sensitive as is driven by the COLA submittal schedules of 2008 for all proposed plants.
